Description

  • Consistently exceed sales quota and maximize booking output across assigned accounts.
  • Generate pipeline growth by analyzing customer needs across multiple departments and lines of business.
  • Identify and qualify large solution opportunities and hand them off to the field Account Executive.
  • Articulate and demonstrate Smartsheet’s business, solution, and product value propositions to validate proposed solutions.
  • Partner with aligned Account Executives to support account strategies and territory growth.
  • Accurately forecast sales performance and maintain healthy pipeline coverage.
  • Track sales activity and manage records in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Propose, negotiate, and close volume deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance opportunities and achieve shared goals.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software sales experience.
  • A consistent history of exceeding quota.
  • Interest in learning, applying, and demonstrating new software technologies.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams toward common goals.
  • Ability to uncover customer pain points and align stakeholders to business value, budget, and solution scope.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving systems, teams, processes, and products.
  • Confidence and interest in creative problem solving.
  • Strong work ethic with a team-oriented, competitive mindset.
  • Experience interacting effectively with senior-level corporate management.
  • Experience with a value-based selling process preferred.
  • Ability to learn core sales tools including Salesforce, Clari, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and Tableau.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement near the Boston or Bellevue offices, with 3 days per week in the office.
  • Reliability for U.S.-based teleworking where role-specific.
