Description

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas within a defined book of business.
  • Execute a solution-based sales process across multiple internal and external stakeholders in growth or equivalent accounts.
  • Develop and prospect new opportunities with existing customers by identifying high-value needs across departments and lines of business.
  • Leverage existing relationships to expand Smartsheet’s footprint and drive revenue growth during renewals.
  • Expand brand awareness at the c-suite, operational, and team levels.
  • Partner with Sales Engineers, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success teams to support the full sales cycle and close business.
  • Create and maintain Joint Engagement Plans for strategic solution deals.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records and use MEDDICC qualification guidelines to support forecasting.
  • Use sales enablement tools to personalize outreach and develop an informed industry perspective on client value.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SaaS full-cycle sales experience exceeding quota in commercial accounts.
  • Experience managing customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS evaluation process and the ability to execute each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Experience working with multiple functional departments and roles through customer lifecycle management from initial engagement to implementation and renewal.
  • Experience using CRM and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce and Tableau to track activities, metrics, and territory insights.
  • Passion for working with new technologies and technical concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau is required for tracking sales performance and territory data.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC qualification guidelines is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely from a registered U.S. location, role specific.

  • Base salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 USD.
