Description

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas within your book of business.
  • Run a solution-based sales process across multiple internal and external stakeholders in growth or equivalent accounts with 200 to 499 employees.
  • Prospect and develop new opportunities with existing customers by identifying high-value needs across departments and lines of business.
  • Leverage existing relationships to expand Smartsheet’s footprint and drive revenue growth during renewals.
  • Increase brand awareness at the C-suite, operational, and team levels.
  • Partner with Sales Engineers, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success teams to support the full sales cycle and close business.
  • Create and maintain Joint Engagement Plans for strategic solution deals.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and use MEDDICC qualification guidelines to forecast accurately.
  • Use sales enablement tools to personalize outreach and develop an industry perspective on where Smartsheet can add value.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SaaS full-cycle sales experience exceeding quota in commercial accounts.
  • Experience managing customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS evaluation processes and the ability to execute each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Experience working across multiple functional departments and roles through the customer lifecycle from initial engagement to implementation and renewal.
  • Experience using CRM and BI tools, including Salesforce and Tableau, to track activities, key metrics, and territory insights.
  • Passion for working with new technologies and technical concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Power BI software, including Tableau, is preferred as part of the reporting and forecasting workflow.
  • Ability to work remotely from any U.S. location where Smartsheet is a registered employer, or from the Bellevue, WA office.

  • US base salary range of $75,000 to $85,000.
