Description

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas.
  • Execute a solution-based sales process across SMB or equivalent accounts with multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop and prospect new opportunities within existing customer accounts across multiple departments and lines of business.
  • Leverage existing relationships to expand Smartsheet’s footprint and drive revenue growth during renewals.
  • Increase brand awareness with c-suite, operational, and team-level stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales Engineers, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success teams to support the full sales cycle and close business.
  • Create and maintain Joint Engagement Plans for strategic solution deals.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and use MEDDICC qualification guidelines to support forecasting.
  • Use sales enablement tools to personalize outreach and develop an industry perspective on customer value.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SaaS full-cycle sales experience exceeding quota in commercial accounts.
  • Experience managing and maintaining customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS evaluation processes and the ability to execute each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Experience working with multiple functional departments and roles from initial engagement through implementation and renewal.
  • Experience using CRM and BI tools, including Salesforce and Tableau, to track activities, metrics, and territory insights.
  • Passion for working with new technologies and technical concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau is required for tracking daily activities and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC qualification guidelines is preferred.
  • Experience selling into SMB accounts of approximately 200 to 500 employees is preferred.
