Description

  • Conceive, research, write, and edit high-performing content across white papers, case studies, blog posts, emails, landing pages, sales collateral, and campaign assets.
  • Create credible content for healthcare executives including CFOs, revenue cycle leaders, CDI leaders, HIM/coding leaders, and clinical leaders.
  • Translate complex healthcare RCM, CDI, AI, and clinical workflow topics into clear and compelling content.
  • Develop a distinct LinkedIn and social content calendar that builds brand awareness and strengthens SmarterDx’s voice.
  • Build executive presentations, abstracts, session descriptions, and talk tracks for industry events and thought leadership.
  • Partner with product, sales, customer success, clinical, marketing, and leadership teams to turn SME insights into market-facing stories.
  • Collaborate with content and demand generation partners on promotion plans, sponsored content, landing pages, nurture emails, direct mail concepts, and follow-up assets.
  • Use SEO/AEO best practices, content performance data, and feedback from GA4, CMS platforms, sales, and campaigns to improve future content.
  • Track healthcare technology, AI, revenue cycle management, CDI, denials, DRGs, payer pressure, hospital finance, and competitive trends to keep content timely and useful.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, B2B writing, healthcare marketing, journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong healthcare revenue cycle experience is required.
  • Direct experience with RCM, CDI, HIM/coding, denials, revenue integrity, hospital finance, or adjacent health tech is strongly preferred.
  • A portfolio demonstrating clear, strategic writing with range across long-form and short-form content.
  • Excellent writing skills across formats including white papers, case studies, emails, social posts, and landing pages.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to identify the clearest story in complex material.
  • Comfort interviewing subject matter experts and turning technical, clinical, or operational input into polished content.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and keep work moving forward.
  • High standards for quality, accuracy, clarity, and voice.
  • Basic understanding of SEO/AEO, content performance, CMS tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience writing for healthcare revenue cycle technology companies is a plus.
  • Experience creating campaign concepts, not just executing assigned copy, is a plus.
  • Experience ghostwriting for executives or subject matter experts is a plus.
  • All applicants must submit 3–5 writing samples, including at least one demand generation asset, one thought leadership piece, and one short-form example.
  • Healthcare, revenue cycle, CDI, hospital finance, or health-tech writing samples are strongly preferred.
