Description

  • Write production-quality code and contribute directly to complex engineering work across the stack.
  • Advance the team's AI-SDLC methodology by using AI chat and coding tools in the development lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain Claude plugins, MCP servers, and related tooling that extend AI capabilities into engineering workflows.
  • Design scalable Salesforce platform capabilities using reusable patterns, libraries, and frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, CPQ, and related tooling.
  • Build and support integrations and automation using REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, ETL tools, Python, and other object-oriented languages.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, solution design sessions, and code reviews for complex implementations.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, schema validation, and deployment automation.
  • Manage sandbox and production environments, support releases, and maintain uptime in line with SLAs.
  • Mentor engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, and help shape technical standards and platform roadmap decisions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 5 years focused on the Salesforce platform in complex, multi-cloud enterprise environments.
  • Advanced programming skills in Apex and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Proficiency with Lightning Web Components, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Proficiency in Python or another object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience with MuleSoft Integration Platform and DataWeave.
  • Experience with AWS and cloud development.
  • Fluency with AI chat and coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and open-source alternatives.
  • Experience building and maintaining Claude plugins or comparable AI tooling/extensions.
  • Experience using and supporting MCP servers.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, modern software design and architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Gearset.
  • Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Developer / Platform Developer certifications are required or strongly preferred.
  • Additional preferred experience includes distributed systems, enterprise integrations, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, Salesforce CPQ and Billing, and Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Information Systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, design, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to gather and document business requirements effectively.
  • Ongoing interest in the AI market landscape and a track record of bringing new tools into team workflows.
