Description

  • Support the sales team in helping customers understand what they can achieve with Lever.
  • Understand customer requirements and explain the business value of solving technology problems using cloud technology.
  • Execute customer proof of concepts for more complex use cases, collaborating with other engineering teams as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver product demos and proof of concepts for Lever’s platform.
  • Craft technical content that explains how to implement specific use cases and standard methodologies for new technologies.
  • Distill customer needs and product feedback and communicate it to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Educate a wide range of stakeholders, from developers to product managers to C-level executives, on Lever’s ATS technology.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience.
  • Customer-facing experience in consulting, support, or a related role, ideally in sales engineering.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and quickly, including in live settings such as whiteboarding.
  • Hands-on experience in web development (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks) or backend development (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP).
  • Experience with IP-based real-time communications.
  • Understanding of core application security concerns, including password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, and XSRF.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to highly skilled, experienced audiences.
  • Ability to travel 10-25% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field preferred.
