Description

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and understand their application environments.
  • Translate customer requirements into technically sound solution recommendations and configurations.
  • Partner with sales and product teams on evaluations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects.
  • Support customers through pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
  • Guide customers through initial setup, deployment, and implementation.
  • Create and maintain application notes, technical guides, FAQs, and other customer-facing documentation.
  • Capture customer questions, pain points, and feature requests and communicate them to product and engineering teams.
  • Manage customer engagements, prioritize tasks, and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in applications engineering, field applications, or systems engineering, preferably at a technical product company.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in the relevant engineering domain.
  • Ability to understand customer environments and map products to technical needs.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to engineers and non-engineers.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams during pre-sales and proof-of-concept cycles.
  • Ability to create clear technical documentation and customer-facing materials.
  • Based in the United States and available during standard U.S. business hours.
  • Strong ownership, proactive communication, collaborative working style, and adaptability.
  • Comfort learning unfamiliar technical areas and building expertise quickly.
