Description

  • Source and qualify outbound accounts that fit ShipMonk’s merchant model.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients and build early relationships.
  • Use social media, email campaigns, and phone calls to educate prospects about ShipMonk’s services.
  • Make 60 phone calls and send 40 emails per day using Outreach.
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover prospect needs and fulfillment details.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce.
  • Set qualified meetings for Account Executives to close deals.
  • Research ideal customers and tailor outreach to build rapport.
  • Stay current on ecommerce trends and logistics solutions.
  • Partner with team experts to resolve issues and recommend the best fit for prospects.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of sales or relevant experience.
  • Sales, portfolio, or relationship experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and drive engagement with potential merchants.
  • Comfortable working in a competitive environment and demonstrating personal ambition.
  • Strong desire to learn ShipMonk’s products and stay current as offerings change.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and deliver engaging, customized pitches.
  • Ability to ask strategic questions and provide consultative guidance.
  • Team-oriented mindset with active listening and respect for coworkers’ ideas.
  • Familiarity with Outreach and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Ability to point prospects to the correct ShipMonk solution based on fit.
