Description

  • Source and qualify outbound accounts that fit ShipMonk’s model.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients and build initial relationships.
  • Use social media, email campaigns, and phone calls to educate prospects about ShipMonk services.
  • Learn ShipMonk’s products quickly and communicate features accurately and persuasively.
  • Deliver customized outreach and discovery conversations based on prospect pain points.
  • Ask strategic questions to uncover fulfillment needs and identify solution fit.
  • Generate solutions and schedule time with internal experts when needed to resolve prospect issues.
  • Make 60 phone calls and send 40 emails per day using Outreach.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce.
  • Set qualified meetings for Account Executives to close deals.
  • Stay current on ecommerce trends and logistics solutions.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of sales or relevant experience.
  • Sales, portfolio, or relationship experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and engage potential merchants.
  • Comfort working in a competitive environment and demonstrating personal ambition.
  • Strong desire to learn and quickly absorb new product information.
  • Consultative mindset focused on the customer’s best interests and mutual fit.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with prospects.
  • Strong communication skills for delivering engaging, customized pitches.
  • Team-oriented approach with active listening and respect for coworkers.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to use Outreach and Salesforce.
