Description

  • Bring in new business to achieve revenue targets through self-sourcing techniques.
  • Source prospects using internal databases, online research, self-created cadences, marketing campaigns, referrals, and other channels.
  • Qualify prospects and position ShipBob’s value proposition to win operationally fit business.
  • Meet with self-sourced and pre-vetted prospects to assess mutual fit.
  • Move customers efficiently through the sales process while setting clear expectations.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and general partnership agreements.
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed pipeline and CRM notes for forecasting and account visibility.
  • Provide feedback to management to improve the sales process and merchant experience.
  • Ensure a proper handoff to the post-sales team.
  • Identify local market nuances and help improve processes, tools, and documentation.

Requirements

  • At least 18 months of experience as an Account Executive or Sales Representative in the ecommerce fulfillment or OMS/WMS/TMS tech space.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales role.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and motivate others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle negotiation processes.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially MS Excel and CRM software.
  • Willingness to work in a startup-like, fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-drive prospecting efforts.
