Description

  • Generate new leads and business opportunities using Serán’s and personal professional networks.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships and develop a strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned client accounts and manage communications between customers and internal teams.
  • Manage both existing pipeline opportunities and new business development activities.
  • Participate in client visits, trade shows, conferences, and other external business development events.
  • Collaborate with executive, technical operations, project management, and other internal stakeholders to support client outcomes.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and other business development materials.
  • Negotiate agreements with BD, corporate, and legal leadership, including CDAs, MSAs, and commercial supply agreements.
  • Resolve client issues and support account improvements through project management guidance and outreach.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs, and help build short-, medium-, and long-term sales pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience is ideal, though additional training may be provided.
  • Track record of technical leadership, including technical conference and client presentations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, business, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to follow through on customer contracts and management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate when appropriate, and work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM, Office, and related software.
  • Approximately 25% travel is required, with periods over 50% possible; domestic travel is expected with potential for international travel.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
