Description

Translate business problems into predictive modeling, optimization, and data-driven solutions.
Design, develop, deploy, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, and forecasting.
Engineer prompts for securely hosted large language models and contribute to Generative AI solutions.
Apply statistical analysis and experimentation methods, including hypothesis testing and A/B testing.
Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and dataset preparation across large cloud-based datasets.
Implement MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, retraining, and production lifecycle management.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, clients, and stakeholders during discovery, experimentation, and solution design.
Communicate model results, insights, and recommendations through clear storytelling, visualization, and stakeholder presentations.
Contribute to scalable analytics and AI solution design focused on business value.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a senior data scientist or engineer delivering data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions.
2+ years of experience with GCP data technologies.
Hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, production deployments, model tuning, and validation.
Experience managing the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from data preparation through deployment and monitoring.
Strong Python and SQL skills, including experience working with large datasets.
Experience with data identification, ETL/pipelining, curation, chunking, modeling, data quality, cataloging, lineage, and package deployment.
Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and processes.
Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong communication, problem-solving, independent ownership, and stakeholder engagement skills; preferred experience includes Generative AI, RAG, Vertex AI, Gemini, BigQuery ML, MLOps, data governance, Looker, Power BI, financial services, and relevant certifications.
