Description

  • Develop and validate algorithms for large multimodal epigenomic datasets.
  • Implement, test, and evaluate research analyses and new features within existing pipelines.
  • Analyze sequencing and clinical data from large cohorts while maintaining data integrity and quality control.
  • Collaborate with molecular biologists and clinical scientists on complex scientific problems.
  • Visualize results and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to standards for code quality and reproducibility.
  • Advance methods from prototype through scalable implementation and clinical validation.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biology, or a related field, or a bachelor’s/master’s degree with at least 4 years of professional experience.
  • Track record developing and validating workflows for high-throughput sequencing data.
  • Experience applying and evaluating statistical and machine learning methods on large datasets.
  • Strong quantitative reasoning and scientific data analysis skills.
  • Software development experience with proficiency in Python and its scientific computing ecosystem.
  • Fluency with Linux command-line tools and cloud computing environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of DNA methylation or other epigenomic data (preferred).
  • Experience with cell-free DNA, liquid biopsy, cancer genomics, diagnostics, or large clinical cohorts (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI tools and foundation models for biological data (preferred).
