Description

  • Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
  • Lead end-to-end projects and contribute across infrastructure, application tiers, and data tiers.
  • Translate requirements, estimate effort, and identify or escalate blockers as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define requirements and implement solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, secure, testable, and well-documented code.
  • Implement comprehensive testing and performance tuning to improve system stability and uptime.
  • Monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements or refactors.
  • Participate in code reviews and help drive best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in agile environments, ideally Scrum, with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong full-stack development experience across client-side React and server-side systems.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React; Python experience is a plus.
  • Experience with modern React state management such as Redux or Context API and building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
  • Advanced experience with PostgreSQL and distributed systems such as CockroachDB and ClickHouse.
  • Familiarity with Kafka for real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
  • Ability to write and maintain unit and integration tests based on acceptance criteria.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and defend technical decisions.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative version control practices.
