Description

  • Research target accounts before first contact to understand prospect needs and book meetings for aligned Field Sales Reps.
  • Qualify and respond to inbound leads with urgency.
  • Execute outbound prospecting through cold calling, email, social selling, and networking.
  • Evangelize SecurityScorecard’s platform and value proposition to prospective customers.
  • Maintain a clean and accurate Salesforce database.
  • Partner with Marketing and Channel teams on ad hoc projects and targeted campaigns.
  • Use Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and LeadiQ to manage prospecting activities.
  • Research organizations that could benefit from SecurityScorecard’s cloud-based solutions and identify decision-makers.
  • Provide occasional event support to engage prospects in person.
  • Create and share relevant content and resources to support the broader BDR team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in outbound cold calling, including targeting multiple levels of contacts such as executive management.
  • Experience responding to and qualifying leads from marketing campaigns, phone inquiries, and web inquiries.
  • Strong pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, and objection-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and time demands concurrently while meeting objectives and goals.
  • Drive, passion, competitiveness, and a strong desire to win.
  • High integrity and a strong commitment to building a successful company.
  • Resilience and willingness to challenge the status quo when needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and selling skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of an organization.
  • Working knowledge of inbound and outbound prospecting methodologies and modern MarTech tools such as Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LeadiQ, and ZoomInfo.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment using data to make strategic decisions (preferred).
  • Self-motivated, diligent, and open to feedback and coaching (preferred).
