Description

  • Own and transform the end-to-end digital renewal experience for Samsara’s commercial customer base.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to improve renewal checkout flows, including one-click extensions and self-service seat expansions.
  • Define and manage the auto-renewal logic, including criteria for automatic versus seller-assisted renewals.
  • Develop digital pricing strategies that encourage long-tail customers to renew without human intervention.
  • Design renewal lifecycle communications across email, in-app notifications, and SMS to drive renewal intent.
  • Audit the contract-to-cash process to remove friction such as manual signatures, outdated payment methods, and fragmented billing cycles.
  • Lead A/B testing on renewal offers, subject lines, and UI layouts to improve conversion and NRR.
  • Train and enable Renewals and Sales teams on digital renewal processes, handoff criteria, and escalation protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Product, Marketing, Deal Desk, Legal, and Finance to implement automation strategies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in SaaS GTM, including at least 3 years focused on digital-led sales or automated renewals.
  • Deep familiarity with subscription billing and e-commerce platforms such as Stripe, Recurly, or Zuora.
  • Experience integrating billing or e-commerce platforms with Salesforce and CPQ.
  • Proven track record managing contracts and navigating legal and compliance nuances of auto-renewal laws.
  • Experience using marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Braze, or Gainsight PX.
  • Understanding of in-app telemetry and how to use it to trigger proactive digital interventions.
  • Ability to model the impact of price increases or multi-year discount incentives on churn and LTV.
  • Ability to define and track metrics such as Involuntary Churn % and Digital Conversion Rate.
  • Experience leading an organization from manual processes to automated-first workflows.
  • Proven ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
