Description

  • Lead the development of scalable, enterprise-grade integration solutions using Samsara’s web integration technologies.
  • Own high-impact integration projects from requirements discovery and design through configuration, delivery, maintenance, and operational support.
  • Map customer integration needs to current and future API capabilities.
  • Build and support custom integrations for strategic customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to implementation teams on integration best practices.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and advocate for product fixes in coordination with technical support.
  • Serve as the primary technical bridge between customers and Product/Engineering teams.
  • Create customer-facing launch plans, roadmaps, and process improvements that increase team visibility and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor engineers and help establish standards for robust enterprise integrations.
  • Contribute to professional services methodologies, tools, and code reviews.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, integrations engineer, solution architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience gathering data integration requirements and translating them into technical data designs.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Python, REST APIs, and Webhooks.
  • Deep architectural knowledge of scalable, event-driven integration patterns using data streaming technologies such as Kafka or PubSub.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, data warehousing, and modern data pipeline tooling.
  • Experience developing highly scalable solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and modern Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong customer engagement and communication skills across executives, leadership, and end users.
  • Experience with LLM-based tools like Cursor and Codex, as well as MCPs, for code generation and workflow automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup and owning outcomes end to end (preferred).
  • Experience with B2B enterprise products and large customers with $1M+ ARR/ACV (preferred).
  • Familiarity with B2B system integration projects, fleet management workflows, hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles (preferred).
