Description

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for R&D individual contributor and leadership roles, from first contact through offer close.
  • Partner strategically with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and shape recruiting approaches.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines through market mapping and long-range engagement programs.
  • Source candidates through creative outbound methods and direct outreach to passive talent.
  • Identify and remove friction in the hiring process to improve candidate and stakeholder experience.
  • Support a team-first recruiting culture by collaborating openly and sharing honest feedback.
  • Use AI and modern recruiting tools thoughtfully to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.
  • Deliver a world-class candidate experience while hiring a small number of exceptional people each quarter.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including high-bar and hard-to-close roles across multiple disciplines.
  • Proven success hiring technical roles such as Product Managers, Engineers, and Product Designers.
  • Experience running searches for senior stakeholders at the Director level and above.
  • A Talent Partner mindset with the ability to provide talent insights, data, and structure beyond filling openings.
  • Experience recruiting for technical roles in innovative, high-bar companies.
  • Proven ability to build outbound and passive talent strategies in constrained markets.
  • Strong track record navigating ambiguity, pushback, and process risk while maintaining hiring quality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders and deliver crisp execution.
  • Experience using AI tools intentionally to make recruiting more thorough and efficient without harming candidate quality or experience.
  • This role is open to candidates residing in Canada.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of CAD $123,250 to $159,500.
