Description

  • Own the strategy, planning, execution, and performance of the events channel for the Transportation and Warehousing vertical.
  • Manage end-to-end event programs and logistics, from initial planning through post-event follow-up.
  • Oversee vendor management, budget management, event promotions, sales enablement, data cleansing/tracking, KPI measurement, and event asset maintenance.
  • Manage event budget forecasts and reporting, evaluate results against goals, and identify improvements.
  • Facilitate timely event lead processing in Salesforce and produce post-event reports with insights.
  • Own project management tools, documentation, event calendars, and processes for event marketing programs and tradeshows.
  • Support Private Sector sales teams and customers at Samsara’s annual user conference, Beyond.
  • Bring new ideas, creativity, and energy to improve the event program.
  • Embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in field marketing, event marketing, product marketing, or project/program management.
  • 3+ years of experience working with B2B high-tech products or solutions.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Experience building relationships with cross-functional internal teams and external partners across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong business judgment and a data-driven approach to decision-making and experimentation.
  • Proficiency with a CRM or marketing automation platform.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States; relocation assistance is not provided.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience marketing to Transportation, Construction, Manufacturing, or Field Services industries.
  • Preferred: Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Preferred: Passion for measurement, optimization, and improving ROI.
  • Preferred: Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $86,870 to $146,000 USD.
  • Eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff.
