Description

  • Coach a team of approximately 8 Account Executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews, and quarterly target achievement.
  • Hire new Account Executives and provide onboarding and ongoing coaching to support their growth and success.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects strategically.
  • Create training content for ongoing team development.
  • Support Account Executives with professional development plans.
  • Provide clear, tactical feedback to Account Executives.
  • Help shape team culture and the broader commercial organization with high emotional intelligence.
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Canada for this remote position.
  • Consistent track record of success owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close.
  • Strong record of overachievement and experience coaching a team on outbounding.
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Self-starter who is adaptable to change.
  • Continued growth mindset and ability to learn a unique industry.
  • Proven proficiency in data-driven decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide upward feedback to management.
  • Ability to analyze and accurately forecast existing pipeline.
  • Existing Team Lead experience is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with SFDC, SalesLoft, and Gong.
  • Strong understanding of the customer base and competition.

  • Annual on-target earnings (OTE) of CAD $215,900 to $279,400, depending on city of residence.
