Description

  • Recruit, hire, and build a high-performing team of sellers within budget and on schedule.
  • Coach and enable sellers to achieve productivity metrics and growth milestones.
  • Drive pipeline generation by coordinating field sales, marketing, channel partners, and sales development efforts.
  • Develop regional account strategy and ensure strong execution through collaborative team selling.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering to deliver product demonstrations and run technology validation and proof-of-concept programs.
  • Build customer relationships focused on value realization, retention, renewals, upsell expansion, and referrals.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly revenue for executive leadership using disciplined deal inspection and forecasting methods.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with existing channel partners and establish new partner relationships.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Chicago, IL.
  • 3+ years of sales experience with a track record of exceeding quotas in security, networking, and/or software solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a sales team focused on new business and new logo growth.
  • Strong hunter mentality with experience generating new demand, new customer acquisition, and new pipeline.
  • Experience closing complex sales with multiple buying influences in new or emerging solution categories.
  • Experience managing deals of $50K+ and higher-value transactions above $100K+.
  • Experience building relationships with executive-level partners and customers.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical features into business value.
  • Familiarity with consultative, value-based sales methodologies such as Force Management or Challenger Sale is a plus.
  • Comfort working in a highly fast-paced environment.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $135,180 to $159,000 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus or incentive compensation.
  • Eligible for equity.
