Description

  • Hire and lead a team of 6-8 high-performing account executives to achieve quarterly targets.
  • Provide onboarding, coaching, and ongoing support to strengthen team readiness, growth, and professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with mainline account executives, leaders, and sales engineers to improve team selling and conversion.
  • Monitor pipeline health and partner with account owners and development representatives to build account plans and pursue whitespace opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and strategy to solve problems and optimize the go-to-market motion for the product.
  • Lead a cross-functional pod of resources across strategy, marketing, product, design, and engineering to accelerate product growth globally.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the specialist team scales globally.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience with a proven record of owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close.
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams.
  • Strong track record of overachievement and experience coaching a team on outbounding.
  • Experience with complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time frames.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
  • Overlay or new product launch sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with Product and Marketing to influence go-to-market strategy is preferred.
  • Ability to operate in strategic partnership with senior account executives and account teams is preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Claude, Gong, and other key sales tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales frameworks is preferred.
  • Must be based in the United States for this remote position.
