Description

  • Lead a team of Key Account Executives covering strategic State and Local Law Enforcement accounts.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop sales talent while building a high-performance team culture.
  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for the strategic accounts segment.
  • Define account segmentation, coverage models, and territory design to maximize growth and customer impact.
  • Drive multi-product, multi-year enterprise agreements and expansion across Axon’s ecosystem.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for high-priority opportunities and renewals.
  • Build relationships with chiefs, sheriffs, command staff, IT leaders, procurement teams, and political stakeholders.
  • Run forecasting, pipeline management, QBRs, weekly forecast calls, and deal strategy sessions.
  • Use Salesforce and BI tools to analyze performance trends and turn insights into action.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales Strategy, Revenue Intelligence, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to coordinate deals and shape segment strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or strategic sales.
  • 5+ years of experience leading frontline sales teams.
  • Proven success leading high-performing teams in complex, multi-product environments.
  • Experience selling to public sector or SLED customers, with State and Local Law Enforcement or adjacent public safety markets preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed multi-million-dollar bookings and revenue targets.
  • Experience guiding teams through long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and formal procurement processes.
  • Ability to structure multi-year, multi-product agreements.
  • Strong operational discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning.
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills for presenting to C-level leaders, elected officials, command staff, and executives.
  • Must live within an hour of a major airport in the Northeast region and be on the road 40-60% of the time.
  • High learning agility and ability to quickly understand Axon’s full technology ecosystem.
  • Alignment with Axon’s mission and empathy for law enforcement and community challenges.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
