Description

  • Directly lead a team of T1200 Account Executives covering strategic State and Local Law Enforcement accounts.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop sales talent while building a high-accountability performance culture.
  • Set expectations for territory planning, pipeline hygiene, prospecting, and ecosystem selling.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, field rides, and deal reviews focused on coaching and outcomes.
  • Build and execute a go-to-market plan for the T1200 segment aligned with company priorities.
  • Define account segmentation, coverage models, and territory design to maximize growth and customer impact.
  • Drive multi-product, multi-year enterprise agreements that expand Axon’s ecosystem within agencies.
  • Own forecast accuracy, pipeline standards, and segment performance against quarterly and annual targets.
  • Act as executive sponsor on high-impact opportunities and renewals.
  • Build relationships with law enforcement, IT, procurement, and political stakeholders to navigate complex sales processes.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional deal teams across Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales Strategy, Revenue Intelligence, and Customer Success to shape campaigns, identify opportunities, and bring field feedback into planning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or strategic sales.
  • 5+ years of experience leading frontline sales teams.
  • Proven success leading high-performing sales teams in complex, multi-product environments.
  • Experience selling to public sector or SLED accounts, ideally State and Local Law Enforcement or adjacent public safety markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed multi-million-dollar bookings and revenue targets through team leadership.
  • Experience guiding teams through long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and formal procurement.
  • Ability to structure multi-year, multi-product agreements that balance customer outcomes and company growth.
  • Strong operational discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning.
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills for presenting to C-level leaders, elected officials, command staff, and company executives.
  • High learning agility and the ability to quickly understand and coach others on a full technology ecosystem.
  • Alignment with Axon’s mission to protect life, capture truth, and accelerate justice.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
  • Experience in SaaS, hardware-plus-software, or public sector technology is strongly preferred.
