Description

  • Oversee Samsara’s Deal Desk function for EMEA markets and Mexico.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Finance, Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Product on deal strategy and outcomes.
  • Design and maintain policies, commercial strategies, and downstream processes for assigned sales segments.
  • Shape and close complex deals in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Improve deal review processes, documentation, and systems for standard and non-standard transactions.
  • Use data and real-time reporting to identify improvement opportunities and communicate results.
  • Hire, manage, develop, and lead a global team of managers and individual contributors.
  • Influence pricing, payment structures, commercial terms, legal considerations, and product considerations.
  • Support operational excellence and scalable sales and customer experiences across regions.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of combined experience in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or equivalent roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex deal negotiations.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate corporate financial goals into a deal support strategy.
  • Track record of leading multiple strategic programs, including process improvements, systems enhancements, and enablement.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, manage, and develop talent and lead a high-performing team.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and manage initiatives using an OKR system across a global team.
  • Ability to work with senior management and enterprise customers, distill key concepts, and influence business decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and establish recurring performance reporting.
  • Proficiency in CRM, CPQ, and CLM tools, with familiarity in downstream systems such as ERP and reporting visualizations.
  • Experience managing a Deal Desk or Commercial Management team within a high-growth SaaS business at scale ($1B+ ARR) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and NetSuite is preferred.
  • Experience in deal management, contract management, and pricing optimization is preferred.
  • Must be based in the UK and able to work remotely in a remote position.
