Description

  • Prospect and develop pipeline through research, outreach, and high-volume cold calling.
  • Sell Samsara’s IoT and sensor-data solutions to mid-sized customers in the field operations market.
  • Manage full-cycle sales processes from initial contact through close.
  • Run proof-of-concepts, trials, and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Lead pricing and commercial negotiations for deals typically ranging from $20,000 to $100,000.
  • Sell to executives and CXOs and build trusted customer relationships over time.
  • Learn customer businesses and tailor the sales approach to different industries and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with teammates in a high-performance sales environment.
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time to support customer and field activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
  • Experience independently closing new deals larger than $10,000 in annual revenue.
  • Must be located in West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida.
  • Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes preferred.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • SFDC familiarity.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to collaborate in the selling process.
