Description

  • Plan and hands-on lead development within a technical area such as deployment, monitoring, databases, or load balancing.
  • Coordinate a project team of 3-4 people and align work with other teams and units across RTB House.
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of the solutions built.
  • Define technical requirements and combine system constraints with business needs.
  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions in a complex IT environment.
  • Implement key system elements and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with other teams on technical ownership and cross-team communication.
  • Analyze system performance and identify or resolve production performance issues.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of how complex IT systems work, from hardware through software to algorithms.
  • Experience leading project teams.
  • Ability to proactively define requirements, ask the right questions, and draw conclusions that balance technical constraints and business needs.
  • Ability to lead the design and implementation of a solution.
  • Willingness to work on responsibilities beyond programming and design, including technical ownership and communication with other teams.
  • Proactive attitude and independence in taking action.
  • Extensive programming experience and readiness to implement key system elements.
  • Good knowledge of concurrent programming and distributed systems.
  • Ability to analyze solution performance, from theoretical estimation to diagnosing production issues.
  • C1-level English and Polish.
  • Experience with Java and Python.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Prometheus, Aerospike, Memcached, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, MinIO, Kafka, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Jenkins, or Graphite.
