Description

  • Own and continuously improve the customer lifecycle by identifying trends, drop-off points, and behavior-based triggers.
  • Partner with marketing and revenue teams to turn insights into funnel-specific campaigns that drive activation, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Build and optimize multi-touch lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, in-app messaging, sales sequences, and drip flows.
  • Use segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis to iterate on campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Content, and Product Marketing teams on messaging, creative assets, and conversion touchpoints.
  • Work with Revenue Ops and Data teams to maintain clean customer and campaign data for automation and personalization.
  • Own campaign reporting and analytics across HubSpot, Amplitude, GA4, and Pendo.
  • Track activation, engagement, retention, and upsell metrics and translate findings into actionable optimizations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or marketing operations/automation in a startup SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated success building, launching, and optimizing cross-channel customer journeys.
  • Experience supporting both PLG and sales-assisted growth motions, including activation, expansion, upsell, churn prevention, and retention programs.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as HubSpot, Amplitude, Pendo, Customer.io, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of email, SMS, and in-app messaging best practices, segmentation, and experimentation.
  • Experience designing, running, and interpreting lifecycle tests.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate product usage and behavior data into lifecycle strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to drive alignment across teams.
  • Proven use of AI tools in day-to-day workflow for content creation, campaign analysis, and optimization.
  • HubSpot Marketing Certification is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML for email building and troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling concepts such as churn scoring, propensity to buy, and LTV segmentation is preferred.
  • Experience working with data teams to pipe product usage and behavioral data into marketing tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the SMB customer journey and fast-moving sales funnels is preferred.

  • Compensation range of $110,000 to $120,000 base CAD.
