Description

  • Contribute to architectural design across cloud, data, and AI/ML systems.
  • Build and integrate cloud-native microservices, serverless, and containerized workloads.
  • Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design data architectures, including pipelines, warehouses, and data models.
  • Support AI/ML system design, model serving, MLOps, and LLM integrations.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability across deployed systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, AI, and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical tradeoffs, participate in design reviews, and maintain architecture documentation.
  • Own system components end-to-end while contributing to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with exposure to architectural decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python and at least one additional modern language, such as Java, Scala, or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions, or comparable infrastructure and CI/CD tools.
  • Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data pipelines, and ETL/ELT concepts.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML system design, MLOps, model deployment, and LLM integration.
  • Understanding of microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
  • Awareness of security, compliance, and observability fundamentals, including GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, adaptability, and collaboration skills; familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and Cursor.
