Description

  • Generate new revenue with new and existing accounts in partnership with sales and client management teams.
  • Support solutions discovery by assessing technical, functional, and value proposition requirements for retailer and brand solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proofs of concept, strategic recommendations, and product demonstrations.
  • Evaluate client business goals and data/system integration requirements and recommend effective strategies.
  • Create ROI analyses, revenue and cost forecasts, and respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Communicate market feedback to product management and services to inform future product and service development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a strong handoff to service teams with documented goals and requirements.
  • Engage with clients, technical teams, and C-level executives during presales engagements.
  • Synthesize client feedback, competitive insights, and industry information to improve product and service delivery.
  • Develop growth strategies by understanding the financial and strategic aspects of the business.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of presales experience focused on consultative enterprise software and services sales.
  • Experience supporting teams closing six-figure contracts against seven-figure targets.
  • Understanding of client challenges in the retail and/or e-commerce industries.
  • Knowledge of the retail partner ecosystem, including marketplaces.
  • Driven, polished, and technology-proficient professional.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or discipline preferred.
  • Technical working knowledge of API integrations, including REST and SOAP, preferred.
  • Experience with online retail or brand-focused solutions preferred.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise back-end system solutions, configurations, and core requirements preferred.
  • Travel up to 10%.

  • Expected base pay range of $100,000-$145,000 per year.
  • Expected sales incentive range of $38,571-$68,357.
