Description

  • Support sales productivity and deal flow by securing technical closure with stakeholders in prospect organizations.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for prospects.
  • Lead technical proof-of-concepts in prospect environments.
  • Manage technical relationships with prospects and ensure successful proof-of-concept outcomes.
  • Participate in sales, marketing, and partner events and conferences.
  • Provide training and technical updates for partners.
  • Share customer feature requests and feedback with Product Management.
  • Monitor competition, competitive issues, and related products.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Assist in maintaining the internal ControlUp environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical sales role or equivalent hands-on technical role, with 3-5 years preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with end-user experience technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, resourceful, and confident decision-making approach.
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-centric approach to selling.
  • Proficiency with virtualization and VDI technologies, including Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Nutanix, and AWS, across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Experience with physical endpoints and operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
  • Experience with thin clients such as IGEL, Stratodesk, 10ZiG, and HP ThinPro.
  • Experience working with large IT departments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT operations and exposure to Microsoft/Citrix/VMware/Nutanix VDI technologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with DEX and how to position its value is preferred.
  • PowerShell skills and knowledge are preferred.
  • Experience with high-growth SaaS companies is preferred.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.
