Description

  • Design, build, and maintain PowerShell, Python, Bash, and similar automation scripts and workflows.
  • Automate user, device, and identity lifecycle processes using Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, APIs, and webhooks.
  • Instrument automations with logging and alerting, and measure reliability, time savings, and error reduction.
  • Administer and monitor identity, endpoint, collaboration, and productivity platforms.
  • Resolve Windows and macOS end-user issues, own tickets end-to-end, and escalate critical incidents.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure Engineering, and Information Security teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Test, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve automation workflows.
  • Document runbooks, workflows, troubleshooting guides, and integration notes in the automation knowledge base.
  • Use and validate AI-generated scripts, configurations, documentation, and technical recommendations.
  • Participate in on-call support and provide guidance on scripting and automation practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration, service desk operations, or a related technical role.
  • Hands-on experience writing and maintaining PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar automation scripts.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience troubleshooting and adapting existing scripts, automations, or workflows for moderately complex technical issues.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude for technical productivity.
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, demonstrated through a portfolio, repository, or project.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Located in the U.S. Central or Mountain time zone and able to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Successful remote-work experience and availability for occasional quarterly travel to Rithum offices, up to 10%.
  • Preferred: 3+ years in IT automation, systems engineering, or DevOps-adjacent roles; relevant certifications; REST APIs, webhooks, workflow orchestration tools, endpoint management, or automation projects.

  • Base salary of $75,000–$115,000 annually plus a discretionary 10% bonus.
