Description

  • Own hardened CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scans, performance and cost checks, progressive delivery, and rollback.
  • Build ephemeral per-PR environments, isolated databases, and local tooling for fast, safe development.
  • Centralize AWS logging, monitoring, alerting, and automated deployment rollback.
  • Lead security engineering, including vulnerability remediation, secure-by-default patterns, code scanning, secrets management, and access control.
  • Migrate AWS resources to Infrastructure as Code and separate production from pre-production accounts.
  • Implement tested backup and disaster recovery systems with defined RTO and RPO targets.
  • Build self-service paved-path tooling and standardized blue/green, canary, and feature-flag releases.
  • Develop AI agents for alert triage, incident investigation, and safe self-healing remediation.
  • Contribute to backend cloud services and customer-facing product features.
  • Mentor engineers and improve operational review processes while modeling company principles.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in software, infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or site reliability engineering.
  • Hands-on AWS production experience with IAM, Lambda, networking, and multi-account organizations.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Buildkite, including automated testing, static analysis, coverage enforcement, and deployment gates.
  • Strong Python development experience; familiarity with JavaScript-based stacks and Docker with ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud security posture management and tools such as Wiz, Semgrep, or Snyk.
  • Experience implementing observability with centralized logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting using tools such as Sentry, Datadog, CloudWatch, or Grafana.
  • Experience operating production infrastructure end to end and using AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or Copilot.
  • Experience shipping customer-facing product features, not only internal infrastructure.
  • Preferred experience with AI code guardrails, developer platforms, cloud cost management, disaster recovery, SLIs/SLOs, localization or GTM/data tools, and experiment-driven AI adoption.

  • Annual base salary of $131,792–$199,350 USD.
