Description

  • Design, build, and maintain PowerShell, Python, Bash, and similar automation scripts and workflows.
  • Automate user lifecycle, device provisioning, identity lifecycle, service delivery, and systems administration processes.
  • Integrate automation with platforms including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, and related APIs and webhooks.
  • Instrument, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve automation reliability, logging, alerting, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Administer and support identity, endpoint, collaboration, and productivity platforms, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Teams.
  • Resolve Windows and macOS end-user issues, own requests through completion, and escalate critical incidents.
  • Partner with Service Desk, Infrastructure Engineering, and Information Security teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Document workflows, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and integration notes in the automation knowledge base.
  • Use and validate AI-assisted scripts, configurations, documentation, and recommendations in accordance with security standards.
  • Test, deploy, and monitor workflows while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration, service desk operations, or a related technical role, including scripting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar automation languages.
  • Experience administering enterprise identity, collaboration, and productivity platforms such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, or Teams.
  • Experience troubleshooting or adapting automation, scripts, and workflows to address moderately complex technical issues.
  • Experience using AI productivity and coding tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot; working examples are required.
  • Located in the U.S. Central or Mountain time zone and able to work aligned hours.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional travel to Rithum offices, up to 10%.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Successful experience working remotely.
  • Preferred: 3+ years in IT automation, systems engineering, or a DevOps-adjacent role; relevant certifications, REST/API and webhook knowledge, workflow orchestration experience, endpoint security exposure, or personal automation projects.

  • Base salary of $75,000–$115,000 per year plus a discretionary 10% bonus.
