Description

  • Own the annual revenue planning cycle end to end, including capacity, territories, quotas, and compensation alignment.
  • Lead the design, deployment, and governance of AI workflows and agents across the commercial team and RevOps operations.
  • Run a continuous cycle of evaluating, piloting, scaling, and retiring commercial tools, and measure their business impact.
  • Lead change management for new processes, tools, and AI workflows, including communications, training, adoption tracking, and reinforcement.
  • Own the commercial data model, governance, and quality standards to ensure trustworthy reporting and reliable AI operations.
  • Own the commercial tech stack, including Salesforce and surrounding tools, supplier selection, negotiation, implementation, and management.
  • Define and lead commercial operating cadences such as pipeline reviews, forecasting, win/loss reviews, and QBRs.
  • Monitor process compliance, surface bottlenecks and non-adherence, and uphold standards under pressure.
  • Define and instrument commercial KPIs, drive improvements, and deliver reporting on performance and forecast accuracy.
  • Own pricing frameworks, deal desk processes, and discount governance to protect margin.
  • Develop and maintain the Sales Playbook and support company kick-off and enablement events.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and board-level reporting with clear, credible revenue narratives for leadership.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading commercial transformation in an enterprise software scale-up.
  • Experience owning at least one full annual planning cycle end to end.
  • Track record of designing, deploying, and measuring AI workflows in a commercial setting.
  • Experience with data preparation, governance, and driving adoption for AI workflows.
  • Proven change management experience across a commercial team.
  • Strong grounding in commercial KPIs and benchmarking, including pipeline efficiency, CAC payback, NRR, gross retention, magic number, and forecast accuracy.
  • Strong presentation and data-storytelling skills for leadership and board reporting.
  • Good working knowledge of sales compensation design and practices.
  • Confidence to hold senior commercial stakeholders accountable and raise difficult issues when standards slip.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build credible relationships across all levels, including the executive team.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, delegate admin work, and manage agencies to stay focused on strategic impact.
  • Comfort managing multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.
  • Fluency with at least one sales methodology such as MEDDIC, Sandler, or Miller Heiman.
  • Familiarity with signal-based and ABM-driven go-to-market motions.
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce; certification is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-native commercial tools such as Clari, Gong, Outreach, Clay, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence in SQL, BI tools such as Tableau or Looker, and financial and revenue modelling.
  • Advanced Excel skills are assumed.
