Description

  • Serve as the senior marketing leader for Eastern regional utility accounts, accountable for overall marketing success, quality, and impact.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal program leaders on strategic direction and long-term marketing approaches.
  • Lead teams in developing marketing strategies, plans, integrated campaigns, and high-level POVs.
  • Oversee multiple accounts to ensure work is on strategy, on time, on budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Anticipate risks and resolve issues proactively before they affect clients, teams, or program outcomes.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop account management staff across the region.
  • Set clear expectations for performance, quality, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
  • Coach team members and support career growth through feedback, development, and growth opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and ways of working within the internal agency model.
  • Partner with business and program leaders to identify marketing-led growth opportunities and support new initiatives, expansions, and pilots.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Digital Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, client services, or account leadership.
  • Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple accounts, complex teams, and client relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing high-performing teams.
  • Confidence presenting to and influencing clients and internal leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to author and deliver strategic presentations and POVs.
  • Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
  • Experience managing planning processes, scopes, budgets, and performance at a portfolio level.
  • Primarily remote work arrangement with the ability and expectation to travel up to 10% of the time, mainly for in-person events.

  • Base salary range of $109,000 to $135,000.
