Description

  • Lead and strengthen strategic relationships with contractors across the assigned territory.
  • Provide training and technical assistance on program requirements, equipment requirements, and installation practices.
  • Develop and facilitate custom training initiatives to improve installation quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct ridealongs with contractors to reinforce training and address performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with program teams to develop strategies aligned with KPIs, regulations, and market conditions.
  • Work with contractors to improve performance, resolve issues, and support long-term program success.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and improve project results.
  • Analyze data, use Microsoft and Salesforce tools, and submit electronic reports.
  • Support quality assurance, quality control, and proper and safe delivery of measures in customer homes.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Kern County, California.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% locally within Kern County and potentially other parts of PG&E’s service territory.
  • Valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and minimum required automobile insurance.
  • 2+ years of experience in the energy efficiency industry with understanding of the contractor landscape and networks.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse individuals and businesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Enthusiasm for sustainability, energy efficiency, and the organization’s mission.
  • Natural Gas Appliance Testing Technician (NGAT) certification, or willingness to obtain it after hire.
  • Strong computer skills, including basic use of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and web-based applications.
  • Preferred: inspection and training experience.
  • Preferred: experience working in a Salesforce-based CRM.
