Description

  • Achieve Braeburn sales goals, patient access objectives, and other performance measures for the assigned geography.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret reports, data, and territory information to plan and execute quarterly and annual activities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned territory, including care delivery, major payers, regulatory conditions, industry trends, competition, and reimbursement patterns.
  • Communicate disease state and product information in a compliant manner consistent with FDA-approved labeling and the REMS program.
  • Engage with account personnel to prepare for sales calls, uncover needs and opportunities, and provide approved solutions.
  • Provide physicians and office personnel with access-related information using internally approved materials.
  • Manage and support accounts by ensuring product access and resolving or triaging reimbursement issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Braeburn partners to support account and territory objectives.
  • Build ongoing customer dialogue to anticipate and adapt to customer needs and market changes.
  • Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses while maintaining compliance with company policies and code of conduct.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • At least 3 years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • Proven sales or field market access performance, supported by market performance reports and recognition awards in specialty pharmacy markets.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven product launch experience in a highly complicated and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty products, particularly physician-administered implantable or injectable medication technologies in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work autonomously to identify new business opportunities.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, with some territories requiring overnight travel up to 50-70%.
  • Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
