Description

  • Create and execute territory and account strategies for new and existing client accounts across the UK region.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through deal closure and account expansion.
  • Track customer and transactional data accurately in Salesforce.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering, Sales Operations, Legal, Customer Success, and other internal teams to support the sales process.
  • Deliver product demonstrations to technical and business audiences, independently or with a Solutions Architect.
  • Stay informed on competitor offerings, industry trends, and product innovation to position Upsun effectively.
  • Communicate clearly with management, customers, partners, and internal teams across pre-sales and onboarding.
  • Forecast pipeline activity accurately and close new business by differentiating Upsun based on business value.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline to drive revenue growth within your territory.
  • Travel within the UK region as needed, with occasional European travel for events and key opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technology sales experience with demonstrated success in B2B sales, ideally in the broader UK market.
  • Experience selling into complex, technical sales environments.
  • Strong experience generating pipeline, identifying leads, and nurturing prospects through contract signature.
  • Experience closing new clients using solution selling and value-based selling techniques.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC or MEDDPICC is preferred.
  • Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, to manage pipeline, forecasting, and customer relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage technical and business stakeholders at all seniority levels.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter while contributing to a global sales organization.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25–30% of the time.
  • Legal authorization to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
