Description

  • Drive new business acquisition and meet or exceed an annual £1.5M+ new sales target.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure.
  • Structure and negotiate multi-year, multi-trial enterprise contracts that support long-term partnerships.
  • Engage senior stakeholders in Pharma R&D, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and procurement with a consultative approach.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving formal procurement and bid processes.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in HubSpot.
  • Work closely with Product, Science, Tech, Marketing, Research, Regulatory, and Delivery teams to align solutions and implementation.
  • Use client feedback to inform product roadmap and evidence strategy.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and competitor positioning to adapt sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Extensive enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of selling complex solutions into pharmaceutical or biotech companies.
  • Demonstrable track record of closing multiple £450K+ ACV deals.
  • Established network of senior decision-makers and procurement stakeholders within pharmaceutical and biotech organisations.
  • Experience coordinating RFP responses, bid submission, and bid defence processes.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple buying groups, senior decision-makers, and formal procurement processes.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills with the ability to craft strategic, high-impact deals.
  • Understanding of the pharma R&D lifecycle, particularly clinical trials and digital health technologies.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or an equivalent CRM and structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven, consultative and credible, collaborative, and low-ego in approach.
