Description

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, priorities, and outcomes for a defined area of Upsun Cloud.
  • Synthesize customer, support, sales, and engineering input into clear problem statements.
  • Evaluate solution options, trade-offs, and scope with cross-functional teams.
  • Ship incrementally and use feedback and data to iterate quickly.
  • Partner with infrastructure and systems engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable platform capabilities.
  • Design features, APIs, documentation, and error messages for both developers and AI agents.
  • Engage customers, advocate for their needs, and define metrics that demonstrate product value.
  • Build alignment across engineering, design, Product Marketing, support, and leadership.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to shape go-to-market strategy throughout product development.

Requirements

  • Proven product management experience owning a distinct product area, preferably in developer platforms, PaaS, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of building, deploying, and operating cloud applications.
  • Ability to collaborate with infrastructure engineers on multi-tenant architectures or distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with software development in Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Go, or Rust.
  • Experience with or close collaboration on CI/CD workflows and Docker/OCI containers.
  • Ability to define intuitive API designs.
  • Daily use of modern AI tools for research, drafting, and prototyping, with a realistic understanding of their limitations.
  • Strong perspective on autonomous agent architecture and agentic software development workflows.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, using data to guide decisions, and building consensus through clear communication.
  • Legally authorized to work in Germany, Canada, Spain, France, or the UK; background checks are required. Kubernetes experience is preferred.
