Description

  • Lead and develop a team of quota-carrying Account Executives focused on hunting for net new business.
  • Partner with sales leadership, marketing, and other functional groups to align the team with strategy and goals.
  • Coach direct reports on pipeline building, opportunity progression, closing practices, and career development.
  • Build and refine a scalable, measurable, and predictable sales process to grow the team and improve performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the sales cycle in line with Remote’s core values and mission.
  • Help shape and iterate on go-to-market strategy for the Southeast Asia hunter team.
  • Support account prioritization, sales metrics, forecast hygiene, and forecast accuracy.
  • Provide guidance on sales tools and ensure they are used effectively throughout the sales cycle.
  • Review team performance, set expectations, and ensure goals are aligned and progress is tracked.
  • Deliver weekly and quarterly reporting on pipeline, wins and losses, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of mentoring direct reports on pipeline building, opportunity advancement, and closing best practices.
  • Experience fostering cross-functional alignment across teams and functional groups.
  • Consistent history of delivering against targets and achieving team goals sustainably.
  • Experience building and growing geographically distributed teams of Account Executives.
  • Experience managing a team of quota-carrying Account Executives focused on net new business hunting.
  • Experience with tools used for the Account Executive function and working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, including startups.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute functionally.
  • Strong leadership skills across multiple distributed direct reports.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Remote work experience is not required but is considered a plus.
  • Experience managing Account Executive teams across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Greater China is an advantage.

  • On-target earnings between $96,000 USD and $240,000 USD, with base salary at 60%.
