Description

  • Develop a data-driven sales strategy and business plan to grow market development across the New England region.
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team of sales representatives.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop sales representatives.
  • Create and refine customized pitches for OBGYNs, MFMs, and prenatal genetic counselors.
  • Analyze sales results, identify market trends, and monitor competition to increase sales volume and territory performance.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients.
  • Support the evolution of the test to better meet market needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct field sales management experience leading a team of sales reps at a molecular diagnostics or genetics company.
  • Experience in Women’s Health, Prenatal, and/or Reproductive Health selling directly to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Existing portfolio of convertible client relationships in the region.
  • Strong experience hiring, developing, coaching, and motivating sales teams to exceed ambitious goals.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record, such as President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Circle of Excellence, or equivalent recognition.
  • Strong negotiation, closing, data analysis, presentation, listening, and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to internal and external audiences.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to assess the needs of OBGYNs, MFMs, and office staff through consultative selling, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Strong desire to work in a startup environment and build a new territory and team.
  • Experience in a startup environment preferred.
  • Clinical laboratory experience preferred.
