Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports to build a high-performing Time & Attendance team.
  • Foster a positive, innovative team culture across a distributed, asynchronous remote environment.
  • Oversee bi-annual performance evaluations and align team goals with business objectives.
  • Drive recruitment, training, mentoring, and supervision of regional team members.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for high-risk Time & Attendance cases, including wage-hour disputes and policy interpretation.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Employee Relations to improve T&A processes and SOPs.
  • Improve workflows, tools, and service delivery by identifying and implementing automation opportunities.
  • Ensure Time & Attendance services are delivered efficiently and compliantly while meeting KPIs and SLAs.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential records, including sensitive investigations and case documentation.
  • Champion responsible adoption of AI-assisted tools through pilots, guardrails, and team enablement.

Requirements

  • Hands-on people management experience with a strong coaching mindset, especially leading distributed international teams.
  • Proven experience in HR Operations across multiple countries.
  • Deep expertise in Time & Attendance, wage/hour laws, policy exceptions, and disciplinary processes.
  • Strong knowledge of complex T&A case resolution and wage/hour compliance in APAC jurisdictions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international scale-up environment.
  • Comfort working in a service-level environment with KPIs and SLAs and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Tech-savvy experience using digital tools, with an eye toward process optimization and automation.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to handle employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Startup experience, remote work experience, and additional languages beyond English are a plus.
