Description

  • Partner with senior leaders, recruiters, and People Business Partners on compensation guidance for offers, promotions, retention, and organizational design.
  • Lead compensation planning for the Sales organization during annual cycles, ensuring alignment with enterprise principles, internal equity, and budget.
  • Advise on complex compensation scenarios such as counter-offers, equity negotiations, and specialized talent segments.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with Sales executive leadership and People Business Partners through proactive engagement and responsive support.
  • Contribute to the evolution of enterprise compensation philosophy, structures, and policies based on client group insights.
  • Conduct regular market analyses for Sales roles and provide data-driven recommendations to maintain competitiveness.
  • Develop deep expertise in Sales compensation trends, competitive benchmarks, and talent market dynamics.
  • Coach and enable managers on compensation philosophy, decision-making frameworks, and compensation conversations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of compensation experience with significant depth in business partnering and consulting.
  • Experience supporting Sales functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep expertise in compensation fundamentals, including market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, and equity compensation.
  • Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders, with comfort presenting to executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
  • High judgment and discretion when handling sensitive compensation matters.

Benefits

  • Annual cash compensation range of $161,300 to $258,100 USD.
  • Base salary plus on-target commission for eligible roles.
  • Annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles.
  • Eligibility for HubSpot’s equity plan with restricted stock units (RSUs) for some roles.
  • Flexible remote or office-based work with emphasis on team connection.
