Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports to build a high-performing Time & Attendance team.
  • Foster a positive, innovative team culture across international borders in a remote, asynchronous environment.
  • Manage performance through bi-annual evaluations and alignment of individual and team goals with business objectives.
  • Drive recruitment, training, mentoring, and supervision of regional team members.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for high-risk Time & Attendance issues, including wage-hour disputes, policy interpretation, and disciplinary matters.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Employee Relations to improve T&A workflows, processes, and SOPs.
  • Improve and optimize team processes, tools, and workflows, including identifying automation opportunities to increase quality, efficiency, and scale.
  • Ensure compliant Time & Attendance service delivery while meeting KPIs and SLAs.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information, including sensitive records and investigations.
  • Resolve escalated T&A cases through detailed analysis and implement improvements that strengthen compliance and support business growth.
  • Champion responsible adoption of AI-assisted tools by identifying use cases, running pilots, setting guardrails, and scaling effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on people management experience with a strong coaching mindset, especially leading distributed international teams.
  • Proven experience in HR Operations across multiple countries.
  • Deep expertise in Time & Attendance matters, wage/hour laws, policy exceptions, and disciplinary processes.
  • Strong knowledge of complex T&A case resolution, wage/hour compliance, and labor-law-related policy discrepancies in APAC countries.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced international scale-up environment.
  • Comfort working in a service-level environment with SLAs/KPIs and a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using a variety of digital tools and an interest in process optimization and automation.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to handle employee data and confidential information safely, professionally, and with discretion.
  • Startup and remote-working experience, plus additional languages beyond English, are a plus.
