Description

  • Assist in designing end-to-end architectures, integration diagrams, and technical specifications for federal IT programs.
  • Translate functional, operational, and mission requirements into solution designs and technical user stories.
  • Create and maintain system diagrams, interface control documents, architectural blueprints, and other technical documentation.
  • Support integration of software applications, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and AI/ML workflows.
  • Collaborate with software, infrastructure, and test teams to provide architectural guidance and resolve technical issues.
  • Align architectures with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, and DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide IL2–IL6.
  • Apply cloud-native patterns, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies to support continuous delivery.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, cloud engineering, or solutions architecture.
  • Experience designing, configuring, or deploying cloud solutions; AWS experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of microservices, full-stack architecture, and REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, automated CI/CD pipelines, version control, and security scanning.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect–Associate or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Federal or DoD contracting experience preferred.
  • Experience with GitLab, Jira, Databricks, modern data architectures, Apache Spark, AI/ML integration, or Agile frameworks preferred.
