Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs and backend services.
  • Create functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
  • Validate REST APIs, event-driven integrations, microservices, and cross-system contracts.
  • Test API functionality, errors, security, performance considerations, and data consistency.
  • Define test strategies, coverage, standards, and coding guidelines for critical loan-processing flows.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve execution reliability.
  • Analyze payloads, logs, and system interactions to identify defects.
  • Participate in requirements and design reviews, code reviews, and deployment-readiness activities.
  • Collaborate with development, architecture, product, business, and operations teams in an Agile environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement of QA practices and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of QA automation experience.
  • 3+ years of API test automation experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C# and automation frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and OAuth2, JWT, or Basic Auth.
  • Experience with RestAssured, Postman/Insomnia, or similar API automation tools.
  • Experience with TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or xUnit.
  • Experience integrating tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git.
  • Experience testing enterprise applications with multiple integrations and microservices architectures.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with Jira, Xray, or Zephyr; familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
