Description

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects through the full sales cycle from initial outreach to close.
  • Generate prospective church leads through research, cold calling, internet outreach, and professional networking.
  • Visit 30-40 churches per month in person within the assigned territory.
  • Meet and exceed sales revenue, booking goals, and overall performance objectives.
  • Educate prospects and clients through presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Clearly communicate Pushpay’s value proposition and return on investment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with church leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with SDRs, AEs, Sales Managers, Marketing, Partner Success, and Implementation teams to execute initiatives and ensure delivery alignment.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and record all prospect and client activity in Salesforce.
  • Participate in deal structuring, contract negotiation, closing, and sharing sales best practices with the team.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of successful sales experience.
  • Experience selling technology products, preferably SaaS solutions.
  • Working knowledge or experience in the faith sector is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the church sector culture, leaders, organizations, and structures.
  • Knowledge of the growing church market.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to influence decisions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven track record in new business development.
  • Experience canvassing and cold-calling into organizations with evidence of success.
  • Ability to manage a complex sales cycle from prospecting through demos, negotiation, and closing.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing prospects through a CRM application.
  • Strong computer skills, including Mac OSX, Google platforms, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Eligible to work in an approved remote location: Sacramento, Bay Area CA, Miami FL, Chicago IL, Baltimore MD, Detroit MI, Minneapolis MN, Cincinnati OH, or Houston TX.
